Why work with me?
My background is in linguistics & translation, studying both French and Spanish. This gave me a deep understanding of English grammar, which I then solidified by teaching English as a foreign language.
My work as both a translator and a writer has helped me understand how to structure a text for readability, optimise content using SEO best practices and ensure texts follow a style guide.

If you’re interested in my editing or proofreading services, here’s what happens next:
1. Get in touch
Reach out via my contact form, telling me who you are, and a brief summary of what you’re looking for.
2. Organise a call
We have a call (in French, Spanish or English!) where we discuss your needs. This call is to get to know each other and make sure we’ll be a good fit.
After the call, we can sign contracts to outline terms.
3. Finalise workflow
Now we finalise a workflow + make sure I’ve got all the information I need to edit or proofread.
I’ll ask for context like style guides, brand TOV and information on your target audience.
Once we’ve finalised everything, I will ask for a 50% deposit on the first month’s work.
4. Editing and proofreading
I edit or proofread your content. For larger projects, where this might have a slower turnaround, I make sure to stay in touch with progress updates.
Once I’ve sent over the final edit to you, I’ll invoice for the rest of my fee.

Do you have a minimum fee?
Yes, my minimum fee is an hour’s worth of work.
I’m overseas, how does payment work?
I take payment in £ using Wise. I can provide you with UK or EU bank details for this.
Can you edit my AI text?
I can, in some instances, edit AI or machine translations. I will not do this for creative or long-form texts.
